For the 2020 vintage, winemaker Enrique Tirado emphasized its remarkable balance, drawing a parallel to the "mirror year" 2020. We were tasked with translating this concept into a compelling video and key visual campaign.
Building upon the success of the 2019 vintage campaign, which artistically interpreted tasting notes, we focused on the theme of balance for the 2020 release. We closely collaborated with Tirado to ensure the script accurately reflected the wine's unique qualities.
Visually, we captured artistic close-ups of the wine, evoking the "mirror year" through reflections and trompe l'oeils. These images formed the campaign's key visuals, maintaining brand consistency while creating a distinct identity for the 2020 vintage. The final product was a seductive, high-end video and a series of stunning key visuals that embodied Don Melchor's premium quality and meticulous craftsmanship.
